β€” Take a notepad.exe, take typescript..
most of the "features" gone🀀 agree?

Depends, "compiling" is still there afterwards, even if you don't have any intellisense etc πŸ€·πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ
So type safety isn't lost at all

β€” +

And I can't wait for 4.1.0-beta to become stable already

β€” Dynamic key manipulation (forgot the actual name tbh xd) is more than op <3

β€” Yeah, also recursive conditional types are epic

β€” None of the features are gone

β€” TypeScript compiler will report the exact same errors as any editor will do in-line

β€” You just get them while running tsc instead of while editing

β€” Which is not much different, the turnaround time doesn't even slow down that much

β€” In fact, I would say TypeScript makes notepad.exe programming MORE feasible than with JS, since errors are easier to find
