Writing styles in, for example, LESS syntax, is easier than writing in JS. but it's harder to bind them dynamicly with DOM

— With styled approach you have a lot of tools to do metaprogramming

— I prefer c++ template metaprogramming

— So in this case it is the same

— You just need a good *thing* framework that maps styles to elements, so you write CSS and JS separately
