— Until v8 is ready

But only the virtual green threads, if you want to take full advantage of your real physical CPU cores, you need something external written in C++ or something, they can actually call the real kernel to make real threads

— Just for a simple (single thread) PoC and that's it

— That's what i mean

— In the future you could do it without c++

— So, think about it

— Well you can still do it yourself, I mean people already working with their own custom thread pools in node

— Because you will have js primitives to deal with threads

— I know, i do but in c++

— NodeJS already has that stuff, a module that can spawn threads, and people are already using that, so it’s actually not as unlikely as you think it is

— Really?

— Or fork+exec?
