— A boilerplate can contain an already set-up project with sockets, express, feathers or whatever. It's like the saying: "why reinvent the wheel"?

— Sure. But that's like calling anyone that uses React, Angular, Vue or socket.io, an idiot. As said, there is no reason to try to reinvent the wheel. But I agree that it's good to have great knowledge of javascript before using any javascript framework or MVC
