— It's a great material to start with sockets, plus is free and for free

— This is a bit kinda misleading (it’s something a bit more than just sockets)

— Yeah sorry i don't know jack shit about websockets, i should've added that

— Appreciate it

EDIT: Really great read, highly recommend

— Hi

— Hey!

— How do you solve such questions where there are so many possible combinations ??

— Ok that's a new level.

— Not only a photo of a screen

— But it is even rotated

— #howtoask

— Try phrasing your question like this:

1. Tell us the problem

2. Tell us what you have done so far.

3. Tell us how you got to this point

4. Paste code in pastebin or something similar

5. Wait for beautiful answers

— I'm the IT tech at a private university. I got called to an "emergency" in a teaching room. I arrived to find an IT lecturer standing in front of a blank screen, head in hands, dancing around in a blind panic.

"The computer's broken! No picture, no nothing! HELP! My class is waiting!"

So, I took a look inside the console. PC is switched off. I pushed the button, the computer started to boot - and the huge screen of the lecture theatre lit up with the Windows logo. I looked up at the terrified teacher with sweat rolling down his face, then I looked at the class of fifty students watching expectantly and I made a choice.

I reached into the back of the console and pulled the power cable out. The screen went blue. I unlocked the console, pulled out the computer, opened it up, did some useless poking around, disconnected and reconnected a few things, put it back, announced to the class that there had been a hardware problem, and booted it up again.

As I left, I whispered in the teacher's ear "The computer was off. You owe me big time." and walked out. The next day a crate of beer arrived for me at reception.
