You know when users swap config files to each other to use on first use that your software probably has crap defaults

— I think personally, "configurable" is a very negative attribute of software

— Me too tbh

— There's a modicum of it that works

— 90% of the time configurable means "no sane defaults"

— Sad but true

— It's the same thing like in game design, where people love making engines and are shit at making the actual game
